I’m not sure what’s crazier: Cal’s collapse today or the brawl in the SMC SJSU game. I’ll have to see a video of the brawl to make a fair assessment, but I am still appalled by the Cal result.

Is there a link of this game and the brawl ? I wonder if the whole game was a tense one for both sides or just a moment of bad decision sparked a fire for the fight?
Cal isnt jumping on a lane, they play UCLA tomorrow. I expected UCLA to drop one or two this season, will be interesting to see how everyone responds. Reminds me of a few years back and last year when UCLA lost to Stanford at home and didnt play well, and the next year lost to USC pretty good in MPSF. Both were learning expereinces it seems. I think Stanford looked really good though. The other game with SC and Cal was as tight as i thought it will be all year. Good competition.

I didn’t literally mean they are jumping on a plane. I was implying that they may be better served doing so, given how they performed today and how they closed out the game.
I know you were at the UCLA game, but watch the end of the Cal game. It was not your typical sudden-death overtime game. It should’ve never gone to overtime.
I think Adam will have the guys ready tomorrow. I’ll take UCLA 15-12. I don’t think Cal has the mental toughness to bounce back after today’s gut-wrenching loss. Everyone on that team, starting from Kirk to the last guy on the bench, really needs to take a look at themselves in the mirror if they want any hope of making the tournament.

That SM player must of done something bad under water to elicit that response
I can’t tell what happened from the video posted above but a cheap shot from a San Jose State player in the last UCI/San Jose State game resulted in an injury to Cole Francisco.

Then that means stupidity. No one sees underwater but everyone ALWAYS sees above and the reaction. Will be intriguing to see how this plays out in rulings and if Refs will have a tight tolerance in future games for one team in particular
The video quality makes it hard to see clearly but it seems like the dark cap center initiated all of that. It was a moderately hard foul but that response was completely out of line
I am assuming one or both of the teams were filming this game since they play again in league play. WCC would likely request footage, or the NCAA.

So true!!! Its crazy the only shade in beneath the diving platform!
LMU over Pepperdine wasn’t an upset in my opinion. LMU beat them twice and they looked like the better team in both matches. LMU has been a bit of Jekyl and Hyde at times but when they’re moving the ball and getting decent center play, they play solid polo.

Exactly. SJSU player reaction was inexcusable. The refs never had control of the game & it reached the boiling point. Very unfortunate. Also a lot of very poor parent behavior. Sad situation all around.
The parents were wild in the video, which is not surprising considering the situation. Chanting “refs you suck”, which was one parent failing to get others to join. Then the guy letting everyone know someone should be ejected. At least three brutalities. Also some guy played since 12 years old.
What a wild scene. Any insight to what transpired throughout the game leading up to this?
