Thread specific to the 18U Boys weekend.
Link for schedule and scores : SCHEDULE
With so many top players at Worlds competing for the USA and several other countries, as well as some top 2026 grads reporting to the Service Academies, the 18u D1 feels wide open this year.
If anyone from the Futuresâ organizers sees this. Any reason why you are not posting the rosters online?
They likely do not yet have all the rosters and will wait until they do. Some teams are very slow to send them in, and may still be building them.
Just added link to rosters (at the top) , but seem yet incomplete as @WPpops noted.
Thanks. The sheet opened for me to Greenwich. They have 5 guys in college? OK
Likely 2026 guys and they will be enrolling in college. It is where they will be this fall.
Where is the link to the rosters?
It was removed as @WPpops mentioned that itâs in âeditâ mode and probably wasnât meant for the general public. I assume theyâll make it public once more teams submit their rosters.
Per the WPE commitment tracker, Greenwich club does have 6 guys headed to play in college this fall: 2 to Brown, 2 to Bucknell, 1 each to Johns Hopkins and to USCB.
yes the grade/college is for fall of 2026. It is meant for college coaches to be able to know who is still available to be recruited. Futures never publicly released the girls rosters for some reason, however coaches and college coaches had access to them as well as the live stream announcers.
Got it. My mistake. Thanks
It appears that when this rosters file is finalized, we are going to have a bunch of updates/additions to the Commits sheet.

I would not use the roster for that to be honest. Kids have listed where they are going to school, but many are not going for polo and just going to school to the place listed.
Did you intentionally leave out âhoney badgerâ?
SHAQâs roster is brought to us by Matt ("Swanny) Swanson, longtime coach at SHAQ and Archie Williams High School. Matt is still the only goalie to win the NCAA Player-of-the-Year Award two times. When longtime fans of college water polo debate which counterattack combination was the most feared in menâs NCAA water polo history, the three that often come to mind are Stanfordâs John Gansel and Alan Mouchawar/James Bergeson, UCSBâs Craig Wilson and Dave Hendrickson/John Dobrott, and UCLAâs Matt Swanson and Jim Toring. Tragically, Toring died in a motor vehicle accident in 1998 while travelling with the U.S. senior national team in France.
But I digress. Here are my predictions for this weekendâs boysâ 18u Super Finals. These predictions may look particularly bad in retrospect because so many of the clubs are missing key players.
- CC United. Missing Brady Hassett (Miramonte Class of 2027, Cal). Iâm going with the mild upset here.
- Newport Beach. Missing Tyler Anderson (Newport Harbor Class of 2026, USC), Kai Kaneko (Newport Harbor Class of 2026, Stanford), and two players who will attend the Naval Academy in the fall. Assuming Anderson and Kaneko play in the Junior Olympics, Newport will be the heavy favorites.
- Trojan. Missing Flynn Guenther (Mira Costa High School Class of 2026, UCLA), perhaps their best player. Trojan is exceptionally well coached.
- Stanford
- Atherton. Atherton, Sacred Heartâs 2025 high school team, is also exceptionally well coached.
- SD Shores. Missing Aden Shin (Bishopâs High School Class of 2028).
- Lamorinda. Missing Tristan Tucker (Miramonte High School Class of 2026, UCLA), perhaps their best player; one player who will attend the Naval Academy in the fall; and one who will attend Air Force. Very well coached.
- CIU. Missing Wyatt Williamson (Oaks Christian Class of 2026, Cal) and one player who will attend the Naval Academy in the fall).
Are the rosters published somewhere?
Is the Gols link for Newport not working for anyone else?
