I have not seen a thread for this yet, so apologies if I missed it. With SoCal Futures starting in just over 2 weeks, has anyone seen divisions? I assume week 1 schedules should be out soon as well.
Im pretty sure coaches have the schedule but its not accessible to the public yet, I may be wrong.
How about the dates? Are they published yet?
January 17-18 is first one but I dont know anything after that
For 18U:

-

-

-
Mar. 28-29 - Weekend #4
-
Apr. 11-12 - Weekend #5

I assume nothing is out yet. With teams traveling from San Diego and Santa Barbara, it would be good to know if parents will need to plan on staying overnight somewhere since we are less than two weeks out.
Securing pool time is not as easy as you think. A LOT harder than securing gyms or fields.
I totally understand that and have gone through that myself, so totally get it. There are a lot of logistics involved here. I know Dusty and team work hard at this. Weeks two and beyond have to get tougher as divisions change. I am thinking about this from a parent perspective is all.
Checking in… still no schedule beyond just the dates of play?
The website has been updated to show 2026 and has temporary images saying “Schedule Coming Soon“ but that’s all I’ve seen. Looks like they’re working on NorCal Girls first: 2026 Futures NorCal Girls Format, Schedule & Results - Google Sheets
And SoCal is out as well
mission v sd shores is a great 1st day early morning battle for 14u
It’ll be interesting to see how many teams look different with this being the first real competition in 2026- having lost (16u 8th graders) or gained athletes (14u freshmen)
I see that they inexplicably put Dons 12u and 14u teams at Division 2. I don’t understand the logic of putting a top 5 team in the country in a division that will have multiple uncompetitive games. They are still the same coach and players as before. The only thing that changed is the name. Someone who makes these decisions really needs rethink what they are doing. I always thought competition against more or less equal teams is what one would want in this sport.
Honestly, they probably made an exception in order to let them in at all. They aren’t entitled to replace “Del Mar” given that they now very clearly have zero affiliation with that club.
Deadlines are deadlines and waitlists are waitlists regardless of how good you may be.
The 12u and 14u SD Dons teams can win their way up into D1. The squad I see going wire-to-wire blowing every team out all season is 12u SD Dons B, the former Del Mar Alt. They are in D3 and have no path to D1 where they could play teams who could challenge them. I think Route 66 is a solid D2 team. Del Mar Alt beat them 14-5 at Vegas Founders Cup. Del Mar Alt beat Newport A, was within 2 point versus ORWP, and took San Clemente to a shootout. 12u SD Dons B could blow out every team they face this season at Futures by 10+.
Does anyone know: has it been confirmed that Futures Super Finals will be in Socal this summer?
I am a Norcal coach and the google doc with the playdates for each age level has the dates for Superfinals and it says its in Southern CA with my assumption in OC as it was there two years ago.
Yes. June in the OC.
Does anyone know why mission is d4 for 18u futures, or is this a different team?
