It’s killing college sports. Shout out to Nick Saban for stepping up and criticizing the NCAA for what has turned into a dumpster fire. I seriously feel bad for coaches. How to you create chemistry within a team anymore when so many athletes jump ship after 1-2 yrs

Ante Jerkovic, a LH attacker who played for Croatia in the 2026 World Cup, turns 19 in September. Assuming the NCAA adopts the 5-in-5 rule, he should have five years of eligibility.
Isn’t he more of a 2026 sign than a transfer portal? He is 18 and has not played in the NCAA.

@rolled1 I don’t see Adam Csapo on Pepperdine’s 2026 roster. Do you know if he still plans to return this year after redshirting last year?
No Csapo. I think he’s back in Europe.
He had issues reentering the country I heard from credible sources.

I am also hearing that Gyapjas will be using a redshirt year for this coming season. Since he is older and with the new 5 in 5 rules he chose to stick to the old rules to redshirt.
He plans to take his masters at a different school.
Taking a page out of the JRH book (Harvard → Stanford). Real bummer for SJSU if true, and massive for Stanford for next year as Bernardo will be 5 years.
I’ve also heard this. Since UCLA, Cal, and USC are all expected to return their starting goalies, I won’t be shocked if Stanford continues its trend of bringing in high level transfer goalies: Temkin, Herzer, Gyapjas..
