I agree Fordham is #5 but in the last 3 seasons, other than the Big 4 of UCLA, USC, Stanford, and Cal, Fordham is 67-0 against the rest of the NCAA. Nobody else has beaten them in 3 years.
CUI beat Harvard 19:18
Make that 74-0 since their loss to Pepperdine Oct 2023. Remarkable. I am going to put my neck out there and say that the winning streak against non big four teams ends this year. But we will see. Looking forward to LB game. Can LB bounce back? Will CBU drive to an upset? Can Fordham hold off Princeton twice? Queue dramatic music…
That is a legit stat.
Navy over Santa Clara 13-10.
Wow. Harvard is now 2–9. This is a program that lost just 4 games in 2023 and has not lost more than 10 games in a season since 2013. The last time they started a season this bad was 2010, when they started 3–8.
I am still looking at thefosh completely messing up game stats in real time! Who pays for this as a service? It is a massive boondoggle in every sense of California sunshine.
Why does not a fosh representative post here to clarify their policy, standards and mission?
They are owned by Overnhgt AFAIK so let’s hope its a year of “integration challenges” that will be solved in the time.
UCLA and Pepperdine tied at 4 after the first quarter. A questionable five-meter call at the end of the quarter allowed Pepperdine to tie the game. Freshman Hunter Danko has an early hat trick.
UCLA up 9-5 at half. This Pepperdine defense is really difficult to watch. Very little communication. Poor press to zone recognition. And some really bad 5 on 6 defense.
Pepperdine actually did a great job of drawing 6x5 opportunities and had more time of possession in that second quarter. I think UCLA took at least 4-5 ejections in that second quarter, but not sure if Pepp converted a single one. Tauscher had a great quarter in cage. He’s having a great weekend overall.
Watching Pepperdine is a frustrating experience. On paper, they are more talented than many of the teams ahead of them in the rankings, but can’t seem to put it together, especially on the defensive end.
And Brown beats CUI 15–12
Pepperdine is a group of individuals.
And Navy took down LMU in OT
Wow. Great win for Navy and going to make it even more difficult to rank 6-15.
Wow, what was the score? LMU losing to UCI and Navy in the same day shakes up 10-20.
Navy over LMU in OT 19-18. Shake up in the rankings coming with Navy’s wins today over Santa Clara and LMU. Navy’s only loss was a one point loss to Princeton.
Any hope of getting the full game on demand? The current offering is only the first half.
I believe Navy streamed but I don’t know how to access that.

Coach Nicolao has put Navy front and center with a lot of top high school players, and that’s showing in the early season results. If that keeps up, they’ll challenge Fordham sooner than later for that auto-bid.
