Could be that my account is too new / some other restriction – I tried on a separate device (desktop win 11, chrome) and have the same behavior redirecting back to the home page, so it seems device / browser agnostic and is unlikely the issue.

I thought Fordham was a little jittery but settled into the game in the second quarter to make a it a spirited contest. Defense was fine, it was the offense that had issues (a little too content to take outside shots). On the UCLA side, I liked the defense and Tauscher was fantastic. Not sure how many saves but the announcer said it was a career high.
I think it is good for the Rams to take multiple trips to California. Seems like you need it as there were definitely nerves early in the game.

Was weird watching Fordham without Eppel thrashing around at 2m. They definitely missed him. Really didn’t seem like they had another threat outside of Toth

They definitely missed eppel. Plus they were missing two of their better CD. But that’s not the reason the started the game down 1-6.

So good, 5 (yes fordham is 5!) through 15 are so tight!
UCLA played a failed 7 on 6 the last 3 min. Bad shots allowed 2 Fordham open cage goals realistic score was 17-9! Cal is much closer!

Long Beach never is consistent enough to be a top 5 team.
It’s a concussion for Eppel - two steps forward, one step back. It’s so hard to put a timetable on a concussion.
Fordham has gotten hit hard with medical issues and injuries this year. Two players are currently away from the team receiving medical treatment and 3 players are out with injuries in the form of a concussion, a broken wrist, and a broken finger - so they’re down 5 players right now. That said, it would not have changed the outcome of the game today, UCLA is objectively in a different tier than Fordham for the 2026 season. I was at the game, and IMO, the game was not as close as the 16-11 score indicates. UCLA is just really good and very deep.
