9/25:
JSerra 13, HW 8
Laguna Beach 14, Irvine 3
Santa Margarita 17, Carlsbad 11
Harker 9- 6 Los Altos.
Upset of the week.
I got some film from the game but it only showed the second half as well as the self reported stats of a few players from the team. I’m not sure what happened in the first half but Harker dominated that game.
Their goalie is very good and they had a very strong core of field players #6 and #2.
Santa Cruz 12- Serra 11
Big win for Santa Cruz with huge CCS implications
SR tournament
SRV 15- 11 Portola
SRV 6- 16 Mira Coata
Redwood 7-9 Creen Lutheron
Redwood 10- 8 Bell
Bell 4-12 Westlake
Menlo 16-9 Davis
Menlo 19-9 Foothil
Oaks Christian 12 - Westlake 5
Down 3-2 after 1, Oaks put on a defensive clinic over the last 3 quarters. Impressive.

The CIF-SS “Schedules & Scores” tool is showing:
Newport Harbor 13, Corona del Mar 7, Wed., Oct. 8, at Newport Harbor.
It was a packed house with standing room only.
10/9
Cathedral Catholic 10, La Jolla 9
That’s a closer score than I would’ve expected!
Cathedral is vulnerable. Outside shooting seems to be a kink in the armor.
In a one game scenario both LJHS and Bishop’s could knock them off.

Does anyone know if the Massey system takes into account the score differential? I see some of these lopsided scores that only make sense if a coach isn’t pulling back the starters to either A) be a good sport or B) develop their other players. Buena loses to Loyola on Tuesday then destroys SB on Wednesday? Does that matter?
