2026 JO All tournament posted

What is this? I don’t see Dons?

Sean Anderson and Caruso Polenzani named first team in 16s and second team in 18s.

Has that happened before?

They chose not to fill their allocations

Wise move

Coaches picking their own team’s individual awards rarely winds up in a better place than opting out

I don’t have a child impacted by this either way, but this seems like an old outdated ceremony that could go away. The timing and process makes it a bit of a joke. Sure it makes some kids feel good but I am not sure it is accomplishing anything. This is not truly recognizing the absolute best in their category. Don’s is one of many many examples.

Last year as Del Mar they send the kids name I check, maybe they just didn’t care anymore this year

The list seems pretty arbitrary.

I don’t think arbitrary is the word I would use.

Is this the final list or just nominations?? Maybe they wait until October to confirm?

Seems like some clubs take the “team-first” approach and others want to populate the list as a selling point (I guess).

What’s the point of releasing this list more than two months after the tournament? Seems totally irrelevant at this point….kind of like USAWP.

It seems they do it every year maybe @Marco have more information about this subject and enlighten us with his knowledge

Dons/Del Mar historically turns theirs in and historically turns them in late. Stay tuned…

As memory serves, this same thing happened a couple years ago. The list came out with no Del Mar players. Del Mar rushed over a list to USAWP, and the All Tournament list was republished with the Del Mar players included. I certainly haven’t heard they intended to skip submitting names this year.

Do they have the same admin as the year they submitted late? I’m guessing yes
