Thank you! Looking forward to seeing the new Wilson HS facility up close.
There are going to be some very intriguing match-ups at this event. Great way to start the season.
Should be a solid tournament in the new Wilson pool. Matchup of the Weekend is for sure Wilson vs La Jolla game could go either way

Does anyone have visibility on the Santa Barbara Invitational schedule this coming September 10-12?
The Long Beach Tournament and the Arroyo Grande Fall Classic begin today.
SB Invite potential quarterfinals
Dos Pueblos vs Mater Dei/HB winner
Mira Costa vs Beckman
Loyola vs Laguna Beach
CDM vs Bellarmine/Yucaipa winner
Potential quarterfinal game of Beckman and Mira Costa is a doozy. In this tournament it could have been the championship. Loyola and Laguna Beach is intriguing as well.
Any teams coming up to Santa Barbara for the tournament should allow alot of extra time for the drive. The freeways are a mess and entire lanes and exits there were here last year no longer exist. They are planning additional construction and closures next week after the Labor Day rush is over.

Here are my predictions, often wrong, for the Santa Barbara Invitational:
- Loyola. The likely semifinal game between Loyola and CdM could go either way.
- Mira Costa. The likely quarterfinal game between Mira Costa and Beckman should be close.
- Corona del Mar
- Dos Pueblos
- Beckman. The likely 5th place game between Beckman and Laguna Beach could go either way.
- Laguna Beach
- Mater Dei. Mater Dei is still missing two potential starters. Yucaipa could beat them in the 7th place game.
- Yucaipa
Here are my predictions for the Scott Roche Invitational:
- La Jolla. Looking to bounce back after a high-scoring game against Miramonte last night.
- Redwood. A very good starting lineup but not much depth.
- Menlo. I believe Hunter Coleman will play for Menlo. He’s one of the best players in the country.
- Soquel. Stanford recruit Rafael Suarez-Abraham leads the way for Soquel at goalie.
- San Ramon Valley. I don’t know if they will be at full strength. If so, the quarterfinal game between SRV and Menlo will be a very good one.
- Buchanan. It gets tough after No. 5. The first-round game between Buchanan and Serra could go either way. Buchanan has three good scorers.
- Davis
- Merced. The first-round game between Merced and Los Altos could go either way.
- Serra. Serra has two really good players. They could finish as high as No. 5.
So much for my brackets in the Santa Barbara Invitational, San Marcos beat Loyola 12-11 in the round-of-16 games.
anyone see the schedule for South Coast Tournament yet?
Beckman laid a 13-7 smackdown on Mira Costa. Are they a potential threat to the Open Division regulars?
