Seeding : Link
Schedule: Link
Thanks for sharing. Curious how the seeding worked on that. Looking at the 18u boys, Brackets âAâ and âBâ are stacked from top to bottom. The other brackets appear to have have a more typical distribution. In any event, looking forward to a great tournament. Feels like itâs been a while.
This year, Futures is adopting a format similar to World Aquatics. On the first day, the top 8 seeded teams will compete against each other, rather than playing lower-seeded teams as is typical in Junior Olympics. On the second day, a crossover mechanism will allow top-performing teams outside the top 8 to challenge the lower half of the top 8 seeds for a spot in the quarterfinals or semifinals. This format is designed to reduce early mismatches between top and low-seeded teams and promote more competitive play throughout the tournament
Kudos to futures for the finals scheduling this year. Great to see more competitive games while giving all teams in the division a shot at winning. Making the âregularâ season more meaningful is an added bonus.
Thank you wp2024. Is that link working for others? I could not get in.
Yup not set up as public link yet.
Wasnât working for me. Donât know if this one will.
For those curious about the bad link issue, this is due to a âgotchaâ with OneDrive links where sometimes copying the url directly from your browserâs address will populate it with a url tied to a personalized account that only works on your personal machine.
You can consistently get a link that works by right-clicking on a good OneDrive link and copying it from there:
Anyone know when superfinal schedule is final? noticed a significant shift in locations overnight
I donât know if there even is a date when everything will be finalized. I noticed last night that there were changes to the girls schedule, specifically moving team from division to up to division one.
