Blind draw.
Some players mentioned that are reportedly transferring. Should be interesting to see rosters.
wow, he either rigged that so he gets a piece of UCLA and either Cal or Stanford, or
it was a true blind draw and he got some bad luck
LOL. I really appreciate the effort UOP had put into this and hope for better weather this year.
It would be good if this some how was connected with the national league. Perhaps next year there is a Socal National League champs like this down south and a Norcal up North hosted by UOP before the champs?
This will be a fun tournament to watch. Any idea when the rosters will be published?

Looks like a lot of players playing for their colleges and not the USA junior team
Why is Vulazic still on UOP’s roster? Isn’t he going to SC next year?
On a different scale, Brown hosting their Spring Men’s tournament this weekend as well.
Different Team USA (Youth players from outside CA) playing here.
USA Water Polo trying different things which at the very least should be noted as a positive step.
Don’t want to gum up this thread - but not sure if it has enough interest to have its own. ![]()
That is a little odd as the @waterpolowednesdays guys said he is playing in the National League tournament with USC.
It’s very odd he would be playing for UOP. On another note, that Stanford roster is interesting. Is Price no longer on the team?
Will Schneider not rostered here?
I wonder if he was injured?
Heard this might be the case from U20 people. Gheorghe also injured or rehabbbing ? Plus 5 seniors not rostered and Rohlen excelling more as field player than goalie. This might be smallest roster in tourney
I heard that Mihailo Vukazic is finishing his last semester at Pacific. He will enroll at USC as a graduate student in the fall and will practice with USC this summer. I’m a little surprised that James Graham is playing Vukazic in this tournament.
Is it as simple as James wants to have a good finish at his own tournament - or at least not come in last - and Vukazic will get him there?
I suspect that is the answer. I haven’t studied the Pepperdine, SJSU, and CBU rosters carefully but all of the players listed on the Cal, Stanford, and UCLA rosters are expected to play for their schools in the fall. I thought all of the college coaches in this tournament would take the same approach but I was wrong.
Can you expand on that for those of us that don’t know? Sincere question. What are the different approaches?
The approach is only using players that will be playing for your school in the fall. For whatever reason UOP is using a player who will play for USC next year. I’ve never seen anything like that although this is just an off season training tournament so it’s not a big deal.
Stanford beats Cal by 1 and UCLA beating Stanford by a dime. These aren’t complete rosters but I don’t think next season is going to have the parity it did last season. UCLA and USC seem several notches above everyone else
