Santa Barbara 805 Water Polo Club is excited to share that we have officially relaunched under a new unified name: Santa Barbara Water Polo Club (SBWPC).

This relaunch brings all of our programming - from learn-to-swim through 18U - under one structure with a consistent developmental pathway and coordinated coaching leadership.

Program Highlights:
• Full age-group pathway (3–18)
• Unified coaching staff and curriculum
• Brian “Chuckie” Roth leading the High School Boys program
• Cathy Neushul continuing as a core contributor and coaching mentor

Our goal is to provide a stable, athlete-centered environment and strengthen the long-term water polo pipeline in Santa Barbara.

I like the name change.

Are the new “dark“ SBWPC caps going to have player numbers in high contrast, like white numbers on a darker shade of blue that isn’t in your logo?

New caps are in the works - there will be contrast but nothing has been determined yet. Looking forward to showing off something new!

It’s a nice $20K expense for 2026 :slight_smile:
