NISCA Boys All Americans 2024-2025

Lists have been a theme lately, but here’s the High School All-Americans for this past year. Congratulations to the young men on this list!

This publication has really gone down hill. Are the coaches not participating in this?

Is this like USAWP Academic All American? You fill out the form yourself, pay a fee, and you are named an All American?

At least USAWP asks for a transcript…

:rofl::rofl:

What an odd list. Not one athlete (unless I’m blind) from J Serra, Oaks Christian, or Sacred Heart Prep, just to state a few obvious absences and I’m sure there are several more…???

Kearns High School, Utah is well represented with 8 players on the list.

No Harvard Westlake. My kid isn’t on this list, it’s a sham. Make another list!

per my understanding, the coaches with deserving players to nominate need to get the forms filled out and turned in. so yes… looks like a few coaches didn’t participate/nominate their deserving players.

also per the NISCA site…

this is player’s performance in high school only (USA Water Polo club performance doesn’t count).

based on girls nominees… looks like there were a few coaches that didn’t participate/nominate their deserving players as well.

From their site:

“The on-line application portals will open again on November 1st, 2025. Applications are required to receive the award. “

Overall, a very odd list. Yes, there are some good players there but the list has nothing to do with the best 50-100 hs players in the country.

risible, strange and incomplete to say the least

no Miramonte, Campolindo or Corona del Mar, among many others who are not represented

I see a historically bad program with 3 players on there. They finished last in their league with a 1-8 record. Nobody from the 5 teams ahead of them has a player on this list

As I am finding more and more often with this sport, sometimes you have to just lean back in your chair and laugh at the absurdity of it all.

Kearns, UT must be legit to get 8 All Americans. I assume every 1st team and 2nd team all state player was on Kearns. Kearns has 1 more All American than Newport, on the first 5 teams. Academic All American has a requirement definition so I would not consider this in the same category as that. I assume every applicant is on this list, but stack ranked to determine which team they are on.

Minor quibble, but the number is nine.

First Last Grade School City State
Tate Kuhn 11 Kearns High School West Jordan UT
Cole Sharp 10 Kearns High School Kearns UT
Scott Flockhart 11 Kearns High School Kearns UT
Lincoln Hatch 11 Kearns High School Kearns UT
Mason Duran 11 Kearns High School Kearns UT
Josh Harris 11 Kearns High School Kearns UT
Rylan Graham 10 Kearns High School Kearns UT
Porter Luckart 10 Kearns High School Kearns UT
Levi Kim 10 Kearns High School Cottonwood Heights UT

Kearns High School has more All Americans than any other school in the United States, with Newport coming up second, and Clovis’ s 5 All Americans being third most.

All returning next year too.

I believe you need to pay for NISCA or at least a membership in it.

In the early 2000s it was used to highlight the kids who weren’t able to be considered for the California/Hawaii All America ballot.

Additionally they have a zone quota system - that also explains the composition of the list. My guess is there are plenty of coaches/teams that do not submit names to NISCA.
