First round of ticket selections came out today and no one in my family were selected. Anyone have any luck? I’m curious to see if this whole lottery system was just a marketing ploy to get people to sign up.
We were not selected either. ![]()
I’ve got assigned a 48 hour window to purchase tickets.
We had two entries, both denied.
I have an email that says lottery email drops will happen between March 31 and April 7.
I just got assigned the April 3-5 window.
My daughter received the same April 3-5 window. Rest of family is still waiting. It doesn’t seem hearing nothing is a rejection until the drops end on April 7. Then we might be SOL
I got April 3rd for 48 hrs window.
MY whole family signed p and so far I’m the only one that got a window to buy max of 12 tickets total
Santa Barbara county cant watch the Dodgers on TV and cant get in on the LA area presale? They have to wait until April 9! Seems like an oversight.
I wonder if they are limiting pre-sales to adjacent counties first, like Orange and Ventura. Would be interesting to see if anyone from San Diego or San Bernardino counties were able to participate.
March 31–April 4, 2026: If you registered and were selected for the Locals Presale, you’ll receive an email with your purchase time slot for the LA & OKC Locals Presale.
To be eligible for the LA & OKC Locals Presale, your billing postal code** must be in one of the following qualifying counties:
-
CALIFORNIA COUNTIES: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura
-
OKLAHOMA COUNTIES: Oklahoma, Canadian, Cleveland
I got selected, and looking at the full venue list, there are a lot of venues in these counties that it makes sense they end up being the priority (cricket will be in Pomona which isn’t in LA County, another even is at Honda Center which is right by where I live).
Good luck to everyone getting their tickets! I’m trying my luck with the medal rounds because they’ll be on my birthday!
We got selected and just bought seats. Although more expensive, hospitality tickets can be purchased at any time through LA28. Prelim rounds start at $350 a seat…
Just so I read that correctly, tickets through hospitality are 350 a seat?
yes. Probably includes a lukewarm beer. I’m just the messenger saying there are options. I hope everyone gets cheaper seats, but if you don’t and you really want to go, it’s an option.
So at this point nobody knows what tickets for finals or semi finals will go for? Like for waterpolo for example ![]()
Men’s Water Polo Finals pricing is:
- Category A - $477.52/ticket
- Category B - $310.08/ticket
- Category C - $179.86/ticket
- Category D - $74.42/ticket
All Category D tickets sold out as of 5p PDT
I received an email on 3/20/2026 stating the following
-
April 7, 2026: You’ll receive an email letting you know if you’ve been assigned a time slot to participate in the first ticket drop.
-
If selected: You’ll be able to purchase LA28 Olympics tickets during your designated time slot.
-
If not selected: You’ll be automatically entered into all future ticket draws until you hit your 12-ticket maximum. No additional action is required.
Crossing my fingers, although, if the prices are as indicated above I just might bypass and opt for watching on tv. Lol!
Wow, I can’t even imagine what gymnastics tickets will go for.
I am March 31 through April 7, and I’ve seen nothing yet. Based on what I’m seeing above, I’m not sure it matters now.
