thank you picked them for this week, will be an exciting polo weekend!
indeed! picks closed so we can see scores progress
LMU v UCI game cancelled for those selected that match.
Congrats to wp2024 - champ!
What a great final week of fantasy water polo!
Congratulations to @2pointer for a strong surge to win this round with more than a few gutsy calls.
@Jeff took second place this round with a very big point differential of Concordia over UC Merced.
I brute forced my way back onto the podium by being one of the few players with 5 selections available.
To add to the drama, the match between LMU and UCI was cancelled which impacted four of our players.

With the closing of the regular season, I am pleased to announce the recipients for the Inaugural Water Polo Exchange Individual Achievement Award™.

Congratulations to our first place finisher @wp2024 who led from the East Coast with a very strong showing. He was a regular podium finisher throughout the season. Using a data-driven approach, he routinely scored more than 60 points each week.

Congratulations to our second place finisher @2pointer. Using a novel approach of focusing on D3 teams, @2pointer saw a little bit more variance in output that created a HUGE 75 point win in the middle of October.

Congratulations to our third place finisher @Jeff who used his deep water polo knowledge to draft a solid squad. Jeff started strong and finished strong, making a late season surge to secure the bronze medal.

For top-3 season finishers, please DM your mailing address so I can have your Inaugural Water Polo Exchange Individual Achievement Awards™ developed and delivered in the next few weeks.
Thank you all for participating in this event, I will be posting instructions about our post-season mini-games in the next couple days.
I’ve already spoken to a few of you but I’m going to be compiling a list of updates, improvements, and bug fixes (ie, stop dropping picks!) for the next iteration. Please feel free to reach out with any feedback that you have.
Thank you Clark! was a fun season. Good luck to all in the post season!
Thanks @clark - appreciate all you put into this, it was a great season!
Thank you to the entire Trail Blazers crew of Fantasy Water Polo. It has been a fun season, and I hope that next year we’ll have at least ten times as many participants fighting for glory. I’m looking forward to the postseason tournaments, new rules, and new challenges ahead.
@clark — thank you for all the effort, time, and Monday recaps.
Can I get a couple brave volunteers to try this out?
I had my robot army get to work for the post-season.
There should hopefully be enough instructions and UI hints there to get us to have selections.
Let me know if there any particularly terrible problems.
Looks very good to me. The instructions are clear.
Are you planing to open the game to more participants ?
Yes, there’s currently not a max on the number of people who can make selections
you might want to create an ‘ad’ promoting this on the main page of WPEX as you did on the initial days of the Fantasy WP. It is one round so we might get a much larger crowd.
yes, was planning on it. I wanted to make sure we can get at least a couple people to submit picks tonight with the regular flow and then promote to a larger audience.

Looks good! I like the bonus points - exact match will be a gamechanger.
Added MAC, NE, and Big West conferences.
Picks should autosave after you enter them so we hopefully don’t have to worry about the system dropping them.
@clark you might want to ‘market’ this round and explain it in plain English on the main wpex exchange. If the picks are locked on Friday it leaves new player little time to join.
getting a “failed to submit bracket” error
@WPpops did it resolve? I’m seeing a bracket from you in the database
Yep. All good now. Thanks
