@rolled1 fixed, thanks for catching that. Score checking is my monday morning coffee ritual, this one was probably earlier in the pipeline.
No problem i knew i did bad this week but now i feel a little better..
@clark would it be possible to update the scores file? many thanks
I don’t think your system has enough memory to calculate @2pointer score this week. Congrats @2pointer for breaking the sound barrier.
Starting updating now ![]()
Congratulations to @2pointer for having a strong win over the field. The biggest pick was Augustan over Wheaton where you picked up 33(!!) points.
@rolled1 came in second this round with strong showings from the Johns Hopkins.
@wp2024 took third with strong picks from the east coast.
Fun fact, no one picked USC over UCLA and no one made any picks for the big Splash.
On the season, @2pointer has taken the lead from @wp2024 by a single point!
They will continue to battle for first as a second group of players fights it out for bronze.
@clark I am apologize if I sounded like I am trying to rush you through your weekly updates.
What I meant by ‘score file’ is this excel/google sheet:
Is it possible to add the update of it to your process weekly or access to the raw scores you updating the game?
Many thanks again !!
All good ![]()
The Men’s NCAA scores spreadsheet is generated from data that backs this page:
where we show NCAA matches grouped by team.
The closest analogy for this dataset is stuff I’ve been tinkering with in my lab for data science projects and other testing so there’s a little bit of cruft and not a lot of creature comforts.
That said, let me know how you’d like view the data and I’ll add it in there when I’m making other changes.
Many thanks Clark for making continuous improvements
Agree with that! Thanks clark
Hey everyone,
I set up the scoring system to allow people who aren’t me to upload scores to this website:
Results entered will automatically get forwarded to the fantasy scoring system (you can actually see the in-progress round now!)
If you want to submit scores to get faster results, please DM your preferred email and I’ll provision your account and send over instructions.
Do not feel obligated to do this, I will still plan on uploading the scores on Monday mornings. This is simply to help anyone who is tired of doing preview calculations on the side ![]()

Fixed. Clark let me take a test drive and I almost totaled the car . ![]()
Thanks for adding scores @wp2024.
Looks like CalTech vs Redlands is going to be a high leverage game this round!
@WPolo9 , @jeff pointed out that the Whittier vs UC Davis game was removed from the official schedule at some point. Please DM a backup pick and I’ll add it in.
The results are in after a very exciting weekend of water polo.
Please give appreciate to @wp2024 who entered a TON of scores for us this weekend.
@WaPo had a HUGE round with 75 points. Multiple picks over 20 got the job done.
@wp2024 continues his consistent performance and takes 68 points.
@2pointer took 3rd this round with a cool strategy of “double dipping” on the CalTech vs CMS game, parlaying two selections to generate 30 points off the result.
Sidebar: congrats to @rolled1 for scoring over 30 points with this points scored selection of LMU over FPU.
Additionally, I refunded points for the Whittier vs Davis match by generating reasonable selections due to

The battle for first and second continues as @wp2024 and @2pointer are two selections apart!
@WaPo has broken out from the middle cluster to take third.

Really exciting as we approach the closing rounds of the season!
@clark Good morning. I entered my selections on Monday. This morning, I went into the Fantasy dashboard and saw the message “This round has already started. Selections cannot be modified.” and don’t see any of the selections I entered. Please advise. Thanks
We’re all missing picks, I re-opened the selections until tonight.

I’ve been getting a couple reports similar to @wp2024 that picks are getting dropped. I’m not seeing anything obvious in the logs that’s giving me clues.
A couple things to verify: do folks remember if they’re hitting the “lock selections” button?
I’m trying to narrow down if there’s a data issue where we’re sending to the system and it’s dropping them OR if the UI is just not setting folks up for success by hiding that button.
cc @WaterPoloTrevor not sure if I saw your picks either.
I can see my picks now. I didn’t re-entered , but they are there now. Thank you
Again, thank you for @wp2024 for outrunning my morning coffee + score entry ritual :)!
This week, the moderators struck back
with a sweep of the podium on a relatively low scoring week.
@jeff led the way with balanced picks.
I took second place with an unremarkable suite of games.
@Limey makes a bronze for his first(?) time placing in a round’s top 3.
I believe this is our lowest scoring round as a group. @WaterPoloTrevor had the only pick over 20 points with his selection of Fordham over GW and @NorCalDad received 19 points for picking GW over Wagner.
Most other scores were in the mid-to-low teens. It will be interesting to see if we see score deflation as schools begin to figure each other out and have closer matches.
Despite missing the top 3 this week, @wp2024 continues to surge ahead in the season standings. He has a 24 point lead over @2pointer.
@WaPo is currently holding the bronze with a 7 point lead over Jeff and a 10 point lead over me.
@NorCalDad is also in contention for a medal as he trails 3rd by 16 points.
Picks close late Tuesday night!
Good luck everyone
