That’s a big loss for Santa Clara and the Stanford WPC.

Jacob Castro to SMC from Harvard.

That hire makes a lot of sense for USC. I couldn’t believe they went through last season without a true assistant coach on staff. That is definitely going to impact Santa Clara in a negative way

That is a great hire.

Will Grant has done more at Santa Clara in the last 3 years than Keith has done in the last 20

not expecting much from Santa Clara next year, I wonder if they’ll lose anyone to the new SMC team

Does anyone know of other coaching availabilities?

Viktor Nagy in as assistant at SCU

I agree.

Regarding SMC, I think it is a tougher sell compared to SCU. Unless SMC turns into a consistent top 10 polo program, I don’t see the draw for players over SCU.

SCU has a massive ranking, location, and academic advantage. It is actually shocking that they cannot muster up a better program given this.

Ben Hallock new assistant coach at Stanford! This is absolutely epic!

How many assistants can teams have nowadays? Are Farmer, Neapole, and Jensen all still assistants there as well?

Neapole is leaving. Wish him all the best.

You can have 3 coaches on staff. Neapole exited after this past season. I believe he got a big boy job in the city (Princeton Graduate after all).

Can I just say – it’s very clear that athletes who’ve played for Brian Flacks (high school + college) want to coach beside him – Ryan Neapole, Soren Jensen, and now Ben Hallock. That says a lot about Flacks.

And it’s hard not to be excited about this staff:
Flacks, Hallock, Farmer, and Jensen - 2026 is shaping up to be a really special season for the Stanford Cardinal.

That’s quite a big blanket statement. You do realize- those are Flacks’ golden boys. There are very few of those…

That said, great coaching staff!
