Nice job by UCLA! Kind of crazy that it came to this with a matchup of top five teams.
I don’t see how Fordham wins tomorrow, particularly with the way UCLA is currently playing. UCLA’s ability to counter relentlessly, pull through, and work for 2M will hurt Fordham. I think Fordham will have nearly double digit exclusions by halftime and this is a concern to me as they are not nearly as deep as last year. Also, if Pacific is scoring 14 on Fordham, I imagine UCLA can score more than that. Give me UCLA 19-12. I’m sure Adam would prefer a lower scoring game and holding Fordham to single digits, but I don’t see that being the case with Fordhams play styles and their Euro shooters who will cause some trouble for UCLA.

USC 13-9 over LBSU. Charlie Mills started for USC (Herzer hurt?) and had 14 saves. Krstic had 2 goals and a whopping 7 drawn exclusions, it looks like he’s the real deal. Jack Martin also had 4 drawn exclusions.

Good game in espn+ - Princeton and Santa Clara tied at 5 at the half. Princeton def missing the elite speed of Pozaric.
I think Princeton will win this game and improve over the season, but I don’t see them beating any of the top 6 teams this year.

The PR v Princeton game will be streamed on ESPN + but I think that’s today. I don’ think tomorrows game will be

UCLA up 4-1 at the end of the first. Fordham really needs to start swimming back every possession and control the UCLA counter. They could also be a little more patient on their 6x5, I’ve counted at least 4, if not 4 man ups, they need to convert those.

Fordham does not look like some of the players are very conditioned at the moment, UCLA is countering every posession

Fordham is not playing well on defense at all and quite frankly not converting a five meter and multiple power play chances isn’t great either. Lucky to only be down 8-3.
They are getting a lot of exclusions at least
