2025 Men’s College Season

Your Engineers were involved in what has been the most fun television game of the day. MIT over Bucknell in sudden death overtime 14-13. Their goalie (Armaan Gill) and freshman Caspar Lightner were fantastic. Really a fun game. Not upset at all the Fordham-Harvard game was delayed.

How does Harvard only have a roster of 13? Is that intentional or something else?

Fordham 15-11 over Harvard. Good game. Harvard got the lead down to two goals a couple of times but could never break past that.

19-6 ejection ratio. Seems as if the refs kept them in the game.

Ummm, seem to remember Fordham had this problem last year. Cost them in the Semi-Final vs USC losing 3 players.

impressive

Wow. That may very well go down as the most impressive scoreline of the season once the season concludes

Cal beat Air Force 25-10. Looks like they were up 16-4 at half. I was expecting this to be a closer game, especially at the beginning of the year with Cal having to play at altitude. I still think that Air Force is a solid team, but I would not discount Cal this year. I would put them in the mix for the 3 through 5 spots.

The coach can recruit about 3 players the rest are walk ons. This year they tried to recruit 4 , but one (as I heard) fell during admission. This year, it seems they are able to recruit 4, with luck they will be able to get quality walk ons to bring the roster size to 15 as they only have 2 seniors. Ivy rely on walk ons to get to a roster >12-15.

Brown will face a similar problem in the next couple of years as they have 5 sr and 7 jr, if they can get 4 new recruits in a good year then roster expected to shrink by 4 by ‘28.

best game of the invite so far. gritty, chippy but SJSU just edged em out.

GW - solid but lack depth and get into foul trouble quickly, solid goal keeper

Davis - need to figure themselves out. plenty of talent but not organized, defended pretty well but man up and offensive struggles

SB - did not look great but also in the USC game it was coming together and they were less unlucky with the post than in prior games

UCSD just got smoked by UCLA flat out. Bruins are overwhelming. Wouldn’t let that result affect thoughts on UCSD contending for BigWest, they’re loaded with talent. Just early season bugs.

USC - really good, Connant starts and plays like a veteran, new Turkish kid is an animal on both ends of the pool.

LBSU - Acosta and Corbin looking fit and productive.

Fun day of polo!

Brown over Bucknell 19-11. Only caught the last bit of it.

The lack of streaming opening weekend is disappointing. For Triton, did UCSB just beat Navy? If so that would be surprising based on how the weekend started for both teams. The game scoring is not on FOSH.

Pacific definitely has the makings of a good team, but not this year. They’ve got some guys that can flat out shoot. Still haven’t found a goalie though (James’ Achilles). I watched the Harvard game and half the Pacific game against Fordham. Fordham has some work to do. I’d put them outside the top 4 for now. I think the goalie is a step down from Lercari

They should start watching Harvard games!

It’s pathetic. At least give me scores and stats. Had to go to twitter to find that UCSB won 12-7. Nice win for UCSB and they didn’t get embarrassed by USC.

Yea, agreed. There’s gotta be a fairly easy way to upload actual stats and not just a picture of the scoresheet, where for some games they just scribbled stats of players with cap numbers in the 20’s on top of other parts of the scoresheet. Was hard to read at times
