Barn burner. But both Leach and Shin out w exclusions in OT made the difference. Some excellent outside shooting on display from Moss and #19 (SHP); Marcin is true menace in the center. The real shocker of the day came from CDM. Losing to CCHS by 1, may need to bump them up!

CDM vs Bishop’s is a big game
Looking at the schedule, it seems that the teams have very different amount of rest after their first game today. SHP and Miramonte only have a 1 game break, while CC, Newport, HW, CDM have 3, JSerra has 5, and Bishop’s has 6. Seems the second seed in each bracket got the short end of the stick, or am I misreading/making too much of this?
HW & Jserra are going to overtime, HW was down two with 1:30 to go, tied it with :10 left. Harry Siafaris playing great for HW.

Newport and CC did as expected.
Strong showing by Miramonte and CDM in the tournament.
Expected more from SHP.
Bishops had some fight in them even in their losses.
JSerra and HV are working through young rosters.
Good tournament.
Good live streaming. Better than most high level college live streams
Rough officiating. One was really bad.
North/South should be fun with an expanded field.

Which teams are in North South this year?
North vs. South Challenge (October 17 to 18). The schools scheduled to participate are Campolindo, Cathedral Catholic, De La Salle, Greenwich (Connecticut), Harvard-Westlake, JSerra, Loyola, Mater Dei, Menlo, Miramonte, Newport Harbor, Oaks Christian, Rio Americano, San Ramon Valley, Sacred Heart Prep, and Santa Margarita.

Should be a great tournament before the CIFs, every team is peaking at the right time and looking at the scores, it seems everyone gave all they have against Newport!
