Looking forward to a competitive season.

What has happened to Davis the last few years?

I’m surprised that both Pepperdine and Pacific are ranked as high as they are. For me, Pepperdine is a fringe top-10 team, and while I think Pacific has a solid class coming in, I see them closer to UCSD at 12.

Pepperdine has 3 really good Hungarians and another one on the way too plus Carcarey and some other solid upper class men. They have a strong chance at making NCAAs.

To @anon39560856’s point though, jumping 6 spots over the offseason shows a high confidence in this years team and Pepperdine does have a good chance of making it through the WCC conference, however I don’t think they will be playing at the same level as say, Irvine/Princeton/Long Beach State

I watched a summer league game where Pepperdine lost to LMU with most of their lineup mentioned above present. Definitely some summer subbing happening but I’m not certain Pepperdine will finish in the top 10. However, I could also see them winning the WCC too so take that for a grain of salt.
