Got ahead of myselfâapparently it does not pay to be proactive. The data I posted was listed on the SD Shores website for 2026. But I now see that the dates are from last year.

SOCAL 14 girls in AA? I thought they might be in the A divisionâhas that changed?
AA is the higher division from what I can tell. B teams are in A division.
AA is always the highest division for SD Cup.
Iâm pretty sure that they are a combined team, not separate A/B teams. I know that they have lost to teams playing in the A division below them. Would you happen to know how it is determined which team goes into which bracket?
Usually there is a seeding call where teams can ask to be moved up or down. The brackets get filled based on seeding. 1st row goes left to right, second row goes right to left. SOCAL Black 14U girls appears to be 19th seed.

How come Foothill B 14u team is entered in a higher division than their A team?
How do you tell the difference when they are both listed as âFoothillâ? Teams just need to be honest and put 14U A, 14U B, 14U C, etc.
I dont think colors or any other scheme hides from the kids what team they are on. Is it for the parents to save face when talking about their kid while playing golf?

In 14u girls - Foothill black (b team) is entered in the AA division while foothill red (a team) is entered in the A division. Im assuming it was a mistake?
Itâs actually a mistake. A team is in AA. B team is in A.
