Next year you should have “how many ejections will Joe call in a game” category
Hey, DM me your pick and I’ll add it
Fantasy is coming down to the finish line, and the score difference between the leader and #10 is only 4 points — incredibly tight. A majority of the top 10 (using the 60/40 weighting) are still leaning toward a USC victory.
Even though the point spread is only 4, the probabilistic gap is actually larger because most players’ picks are clustered very closely together.
If UCLA wins: it comes down to Jeff vs. rharlan51
- Score ≤13 → Jeff
- Score >14 → rharlan51
If USC wins: it comes down to Getit2theSet vs. Clark
- Score ≤13 → Getit2theSet
- Score >14 → Clark
The virtual world is almost as intense as the pool itself.
My semi final pick didn’t get recorded for some reason (pretty sure I’m the reason). Been fun though … looking forward to next season.
If you remember your pick, DM me and I’ll add it.
This one is just for fun
Jeff with the win. Seems appropriate.
Can’t believe I had tied for 3rd when I posted the final score for each team instead of goal differential. Need to work on my reading comprehension for next season
@clark for being inclusive of those that are good bettors but struggle with reading instruction , you might want to consider fixing Rb errors .
Ya, we can update the copy.
Generally curious about y’alls thoughts on the different game variants we played:
- NCAA: Winner + Margin of Victory
- Conference Tournaments: Team + Final Score
- Regular Season: 5 Scoring Categories
NCAA was pretty interesting because it seemed like we had the smallest room for error compared to the other games.
I can’t tell if it’s a feature or a bug that missing a pick effectively removes a player from contention and we start tie-breaking based on additional criteria based on who has ‘perfect’ picks.
Margin of victory seems like a better way to do it
My Christmas gift arrived early. Thank you, @clark , for thinking about the small details. Your contribution to the WPEX community is truly appreciated.
Happy to do it! Looking forward to our next season
