Solo Streamer – SoCal & NorCal Futures Water Polo League (2026)

Game On Live Studio is actively hiring Independent Contractor Solo Streamers to be part of the 2026 SoCal & NorCal Futures Water Polo League. This is a unique, hands-on opportunity to work on deck, behind the camera, and inside live sports production - all while helping showcase the next generation of elite water polo athletes.

You’ll run the entire broadcast solo, capture the biggest moments, and help tell the story of each weekend through highlights and recaps. If you love water polo, sports media, or live production, this is a real**, portfolio-building experience**, not just busywork.

What You’ll Do

  • Live stream assigned games independently

  • Operate camera, provide basic commentary, and handle light equipment/software troubleshooting

  • Submit Top 5 Plays and a short weekend blog recap after each event

What You’ll Learn

  • How to run a full live sports broadcast independently

  • On-site workflow for live event production (setup, execution, breakdown)

  • Basics of live commentary and storytelling in a game environment

  • How to identify, clip, and package highlight-worthy moments

  • Professional communication and problem-solving during live events

  • How real sports media operations function on tight schedules

Career Pathways

Experience in this role can open doors to:

  • Live Streamer / Broadcast Operator for larger tournaments and national events

  • Producer or Technical Director roles in sports media

  • Content & Social Media Producer for teams, leagues, or sports brands

  • Highlight Reel Editor or Recruiting Video Specialist

  • Freelance opportunities across youth, collegiate, and semi-pro sports

Many of our streamers continue on to larger events, expanded roles, and repeat seasonal contracts with Game On Live Studio.

Compensation Highlights

  • Starts at $22 per game based on experience

  • Bonuses available for completion of social media and media deliverables

Who This Role Is For

$22 per game ($88 per day assuming 4 games) for filming and editing content to create 5 clips plus a blog post? Sounds like a nice way for a broadcasting major to get a cool line item on their resume.
