The company Pro Recco Nuoto and Pallanuoto SSD A RL, in the assembly held today, accepted the resignation of the board members and appointed sole director the lawyer Luca Gratteri.
The extraordinary assembly also approved the amendment of the statute, integrating the sporting activity with the identification, financing and implementation of initiatives of social interest in the territory of Recco and the surrounding areas.
This is the statutory commitment that will characterize the company Pro Recco Nuoto and Pallanuoto SSD A RL starting today and that will develop in two macro areas: educational and recreational activities for children, teenagers and young people. Creation of centers dedicated to the elderly, both within privately owned residences and in public activities.
All this responds to a precise will of the chairman of the Orlean Invest group Gabriele Volpi – already made official on the occasion of the announcement of the disengagement from the management of the competitive activity of Pro Recco on July 5 – started today with the amendment to the statutes approved at the extraordinary meeting. The latter has also proposed and deliberated the creation of a committee of essays which will have the task of evaluating and approving the various interventions listed above.
The task of the committee will be to submit to the sole administrator the various initiatives deemed most adherent to the new statute, drawn up following the indications of Gabriele Volpi. For each of them, the spending cap will initially be set at €15,000.
After twenty years of unparalleled competitive successes with Pro Recco, a new chapter in the commitment of the group’s chairman in favor of the territory and the inhabitants of Recco is thus opened.
The purpose of the new addresses approved today is to realize – with a timetable and a business plan constantly updated and verifiable by the citizens – initiatives destined to stay in time. Much more than any exhilarating sports enterprise.
As for the first team of Pro Recco, the management disengagement of the Orlean Invest group and its chairman is confirmed, without prejudice to the hope that as soon as possible, buyers able to collect at least part of Gabriele Volpi’s legacy can come forward.
To facilitate this transition phase, the resigning president of Pro Recco Nuoto and Pallanuoto SSD A RL Maurizio Felugo will proceed with the constitution of a newco called “Recco Waterpolo” that will ensure the registration of the team in the A1 series championship and will set up his activity by initially focusing on young talents.
Players currently under contract with the Pro Recco Swim and Water Polo SSD A RL are left free to seek a different professional accommodation, without prejudice to compliance with the existing contracts until a solution is found that can satisfy all interested parties.
The top competitive activity will not be guaranteed by the company Pro Recco Nuoto and Pallanuoto SSD A RL, as previously announced.
