Any word on schedules yet?
Girls schedule got released on Thursday I believe which is about week out from their JOs starting. Boys start on Thursday the following week so I imagine Wednesday/Thursday this week is when the boys will be released. I wish it would be sooner knowing where we will be playing but it is what it is
Girls schedules came out Tuesday June 7. That is 11 days before day 1 for the girls. If the same holds true schedules would be out today or tomorrow. I would expect them to be out in the next 2 days.
curious to hear which clubs people think will be most impacted by cadet team players missing JOs for World Champs…seems like SD Shores and SD Dons are impacted the most, followed by Mission with two key players and then CIU, Stanford, Trojan, LA Premier and Newport all missing one key guy.

Also what age groups are affected. Some of the 16u play age and some play up.

yes, some will play both 16u and 18u too. I believe someone wrote on a different thread that mission’s 16u team in Super finals will all be playing 18u only for JOs.
Anyone know why there is only 1 day of games at Woollett?
I have not looked, but my thought would be the construction for the remodel
I’m wondering if these 16u kids leave a week early and miss JOs. They could play JOs and fly out July 27 for an Aug 3 start. Although it sounds like USAWP wants them training a week prior. Does anyone have intel?
I think getting ready for 16 and under Worlds is more important than JO’s. They all need to go with the team on the 22nd.

World’s would trump all others IMO. Very select opportunity there.
There are also several athletes playing for countries other than the USA who left to train this week…Canada, Australia, and I believe some South American countries…will be interesting how it all shakes out.
For those of us lucky with sons and daughters in different sessions, I am trying to weigh the upside of being able to see all the games versus the downside of having a ridiculous amount of travel time committed.
Either way, let the fun begin
Do the travel. You will miss it when it’s gone. Take my word for it.

No truer words have ever been spoken. Some of my very fondest memories as a parent are JOs and the camaraderie of the athletes (and parents) during the last couple weeks of July.

First time in 6 years I am not double session. I realized how much I miss the pool deck during JO’s and am glad I have 4 years left for my son.
