I’m not sure… you kept us pretty busy trying to keep up with you last season 
That being said, I’ll plan on setting up another weekly poll on Monday so we can see how this weekend shakes things up.
First-week summary of the rankings versus what actually transpired.
Sorry for the AI and the scientific terms, I just let AI handle that part to save time and keep this from becoming too time-consuming.
The highlights: WPEX predicted this week’s results, both win/loss outcomes and point differential, better than the coaches’ rankings. That said, it is still very early and the sample size is small.
Neither WPEX nor the coaches predicted the two major “surprises”: CBU’s loss to Brown and UCSD’s win over Pepperdine. However, WPEX had those teams much closer together than the coaches did. For example, Pepperdine is only one spot ahead of UCSD in WPEX, while the coaches ranked Pepperdine four spots higher.
I also added the top three WPEX voters whose rankings best “predicted” this week’s results, as well as the bottom three.
My guess on the shift in coaches rank this week: move Harvard down to 19 and Brown to 18. Move CBU and Pepperdine down 2 notches.
- I will continue tracking the preseason versus actual and if Clark enable the feature the ones that are interested can shift their order over time.

If possible, I think it would also be cool if everyone’s poll showed the week-to-week change. For example, if I move Pepperdine down from 8 to 11 or Pacific up from 14 to 10, it shows -3 next to Pepperdine for the week-to-week change or +4 for Pacific. This may be asking for a lot, though.
It’s not too much, I’ll look at doing that on my end. The more work is needing to figure out where to put the UI without making other stuff look bad.
