I’m not referring to being better, but rather having good popularity and being relatively well-known to the point of serving directly or indirectly as a poster boy for your team or national team.
Who comes to my mind when I think about this is Vince Vigvári

I give credit to Tilly Kearns. A lot of my younger players follow her social media and she’s active with TikTok and youtube vlogging.
It obviously doesn’t hurt that she’s a two time Olympian and silver medalist, but I don’t think she’s gets as many girls to follow her along if it weren’t for the fact that used her social media platform during COVID to garner attention
