During Spring/Summer season, I suppose, since NorCal HS plays in the fall and SoCal HS plays in the winter. Maybe a reverse of the standard spring break trip TO Europe?
I think I recall that last spring some US HS girls clubs went to play in tournament in Malta correct?
looks like schedule is down (again)
That seems like a mistake, and if true will deter a ton of fans and families who would like to watch this high end waterpolo.
NopeâŚsure isntâŚthough I stand corrected about the CC feeâŚthey added google and apple pay and PayPal as options so its $60 flat. Still nuts.
How much are the US teams and families subsidizing the Europeansâ travel?
Literally said this on a text thread 5 minutes agoâŚ
Could be worseâŚwe could be travel basketball or volleyballâŚ$60 per weekendâŚEVERY weekendâŚ
We will probably pay more than $60 for the 2026 JOs ![]()
Donât you get 7 or 8 games at JO though? Thinking about parents. JO is over four days. So on a pregame basis itâs not very close. Still too high though donât get me wrong.
Yes good point taken, but I was actually thinking that by the summer, the JOs ticket will be $80
Who are the Titans and why are they in what is being billed as such an elite tournament? Not trying to be mean here but Partizan 16u is up 23-1 on these poor guys . Doesnât seem like a great way for an elite Serbian team to spend their time in the U.S.
Many of the scores are not competitive day 1, but assume day 2 will get better. I was interested in streaming some when I could but $30 was more than I wanted to drop to casually watch a little bit of polo.
16 Uâs - Stanford 10 Dons (Del Mar) 7. Great win for Stanford.
19u has Praetorian in the role of sacrificial lamb.
U19 side is looking very competitive â Trojans had a big win against CNB ![]()
The Euro teams brought a ton of physicality, and refs were definitely letting play go, but teams adjusted quickly and the games flowed well.
All the matches at LBCC were fun to watch, and the running clock actually worked better than expected.
Tomorrow should be a great day with the top teams waiting on the crossover results â lots of exciting matchups coming.
Itâs not quite the Fyre Festival but this is likely the last WPE event in the US for a while. What a disaster. Iâd love to hear from people at the FTC/CNB game.
Last one for top us teams for sure! It should be a European team/player showcase event as the they were allowed to do what ever they wanted! There is a difference between physical play and brutality and the refs were not able to distinguish the difference.

Fyre Festival reference = epic

Left before the FTC/CNB game. What happened? Was it just a dirty mess?
A fight broke out in the water. Players jumping in the pool to attack each other.
Completely predictable given how bad the officiating has been at controlling the European playersâ play style. Americans are being held to USAWP rules and the Europeans to no rules. That came to a head when two European teams met up.
Wow. Well there should be video of this with the Gols stream if anyone paid the fee.
