Hey everyone,

We hit a huge traffic milestone during the absolutely WILD conference tournament weekend. We peaked at nearly 18K page views in a single day, beating our previous high by roughly 50%.

To better organize our discussion, we’ve created the Media Category which will have a more targeted discussion on podcasts, substack posts, and other media.

This category will be hidden from the ‘Latest’ section by default to accommodate and encourage a higher volume of topics posted on the content. Our aim is to allow the Latest section to continue to be the primary routing to our season mega-threads (ie, 2024 NCAA Season) while still allowing focused engagement with the awesome content creators in our space.

As a user, you will be able to customize your ‘Latest’ page as you see fit. For example, you can use the attached instructions to personalize your experience by opting into the Media category or setting up your preferences to only display the College categories.

Please join the discussion, I will seed the category with the discussion thread for the upcoming Water Polo Wednesday episode and a request for ideas on a water polo fantasy league that I’m currently prototyping.

> Hey everyone, migrating the thread from @WPWednesday from the Sponsored category into the Media category.

Also, I’m building out a Fantasy Water Polo website for the upcoming NCAA women’s season. This is being designed with you(!) in mind, so please provide input here:

> I’m working on a fantasy water polo system and wanted to see if anyone had opinions on how scoring should work. At a high level, the problem that I’m trying to solve is that we can typically expect the final score for a match to be accurate. We might be able to get the scores by quarter and maaaybe the scores by player. There are very few instances where I think we can reliably get accurate stats for saves, steals, assists, etc. I’ve considered a fantasy league format where participants draft …
