Why 10U open? Is there coed included?
Yes it’s an open division. Boys, girls and coed were able to sign up. I believe Los Al, Foothill and Patriot are Coed teams.

10u division is underway. Easily the best polo at the 10u level there’s been all season. Newport looks very good. They play a Japan press with x1 and x5 super active with their hips ready to crash.

Congratulations to Newport! They looked strong all weekend. Against Patriot and Dons they ran a zone and neither team could convert. Against Commerce they pressed and got beat sometimes. Very well run team and the front runners for Boys JOs at this point.
For Coed 10u, Patriot was the main favorite but something happened during their last game against CDM to their starting center and she was taken to the hospital. That will cause a shake up in the coed division for sure.
On the Girls side, Newport A looked dominant with their double post offense. Patriot Girls didn’t end up getting to play them, but Newport has a lot of size in their middle of the pool.
Newport is looking to be front runners for Boys and Girls JOs. What a year they’re having!
