Looks like the girls are undefeated so far, 5-0

We usually send 16U’s to this tournament. Evidently, USAWP decided to send primarily college players and HS seniors.

Agree, the scores are also demoralizing.

Jeez. Not sure I understand the hate on this message board sometimes. We do not normally send 16U’s to this tournament unless it’s before a major competition and can be used to give that group a travel tournament which has happened once in the past 10 years.

With both Youth and Cadet worlds last summer this seems like an opportunity to involve some people who didn’t travel this past summer. Good luck to both groups in the finals.

so happy for the girls! To play international competition, have the experience, which some of these girls never have had, ball out, and be able to play in front of the Junior National team coach Ethan before a Worlds summer selection, HUGE! Any chance to allow players that deserve to be celebrated and feel great about their game is a win!

Happy for the girls and the guys - hopefully this bodes well for the World Championships!

The boys game that went to OT was Big Fun even though they lost.
