2026 Women's College Draft

jeff - In all fairness regarding the Olympic years, it is a slippery slope and I do not think that it is fair to discount Pinta or Wrights championships. I do not think that Stanford wins their championships in 2022 or 2025 if their previous year senior Olympians had played the year before. Stanford would not have had Makenzie Fischer in 2022 and IMHO, USC would have beat them without her. They would not have had Roemer or Neushul in 2025 and IMHO UCLA would have been the favorites since USC would not have had Kearns either.

Team 4
4. Jenna Flynn - Att - Stanford
11. Juliette Dhalluin - LH Att - Stanford
18. Maggie Hawkins - 2M - Stanford
25. Daisy Logtens - Goalie - Hawaii
32. Adriadna Temprano - UTL - Hawaii
39. Itziar Almeda - LH Att - Arizona State
46. Despoina Drakotou - UTL - Cal
53. Adam Wright - Coach - UCLA

Thanks again for inviting me to participate in the draft. I really like my team with a great mix of experience and young upside talent. Great 4/5 side balance with the two left handed snipers and as I will allude to in my picks, I think I drafted the Cutino award winner at #4 overall. On to the picks:

Cutino Award Winner: Jenna Flynn - stage is set for this to be her team with the departure of Ryann and Jewel and she will step into the leadership role making the key plays down the stretch.

Cutino Award Finalists: Flynn, Ausmus and Pearson - clear leaders of two best other teams.

Coach of the Year: John Tanner - Stanford wins and this award goes to the coach that wins

MPSF newcomer of the year: Desponia Drakotou - I was also very impressed by Temprano at the fall tournament but the stage is set for Drakotou to be the leading scorer for Cal as they push to be clear number four team in the country

NCAA Champions - Stanford - They have the defense, goalie and the offensive fire power. I think Dhalluin is great and could have seen her going in the top six. I am less worried than others about 2M depth as I like Hawkins more than most (as I picked her) and they have a number of player that will earn ejections and their 6v5 will be lethal again.

Looking forward to a great season! Good luck ladies!
