2026 Junior Olympics - Session 2 - Boys

Amazing that Del Mar goes from 1st in 2025 to gone (on the boys side) in 2026. We’ll if they can rebuild after the high school.
Their girls program seems strong.

I guess if your coaching staff stages a coup then it would take a few years to re-staff and re-build.

Late edit: effectively the SD Dons is the legacy Del Mar

Wide open for second place if Newport brings back their seniors.

Crazy list…that’s a ton of talent.

And does not include about a half dozen kids from top clubs playing Cadet Worlds for Australia, Canada, etc…

The 16u D1 winner at Super Finals is the National Champion IMHO

We should know more on Friday

What is the latest in 18u JO quals?

Any update on this roster at Quals?

From the spreadsheet sheet for NorCal I saw two notable games one was a blowout win for Stanford over ccu 15-8 and the other was a 6.3-6.1 win for atherton vs Lamo

Could you post a link to the spreadsheet?

Has the PSW 16/18U boys happened? If yes, what were the results. If no, when.

Top 24 18U Boys JO Teams:

LA Premier, I think, is 25, which will be in the same group 1 with Newport. Not an east first day.

North Irvine could be the 26 seed if they are MTN 1. They’d play Sand Canyon in their first game at JOs instead of facing them at Quals.

For 16u we will have Newport #1 seed and Mission #4 seed in the same group. Insane!

That will be a tough first day!

Yes, but as people saw this weekend, if Missions’ top 16s play 18U, and that seems like the path, Mission 16s are a mid-tier opponent. Newport is another story.

Not sure what you’re getting at in terms of calling them mid-tier, besides taking a swipe at another club. That’s JSerra’s freshman team minus a few athletes that strictly play 18u. Mission lost in the 3rd place game by 1 to Patriot which has historically fielded strong results with these athletes).
